Position: Electrician

About the Role

Technical Electric Service & Supplies is hiring a licensed Electrician to join our team serving residential, commercial, and industrial clients throughout Central Florida. Every job is scoped to the site in front of us - no two are the same, and neither is the work we ask of our electricians. You’ll handle everything from panel upgrades and rewiring to fire suppression systems, motor controls, and full-scale installations, always to code and always with a crew that keeps the client informed.

What You’ll Do

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects

  • Read and work from electrical plans, blueprints, and load calculations

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in the field

  • Perform panel upgrades, rewiring, lighting installations, and generator/surge protection work

  • Support specialty work including Fire Suppression / Ansul systems, motor controls, switch gear, and solar installations

  • Ensure all work meets local, state, and NEC code requirements

  • Communicate clearly with clients and crew before, during, and after each job

  • Maintain a clean, safe job site and properly maintain tools and equipment

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Florida electrical license, or actively working toward licensure

  • 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience

  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • Comfortable reading blueprints and electrical plans

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift, climb, and work in varied field conditions

  • Strong communication skills and a track record of showing up and following through

Position: Secretary / Office Administrator

Location: Central Florida | Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Technical Electric Service & Supplies is hiring a Secretary / Office Administrator to keep our office and projects running on schedule. This role is the hub between our field crews, our clients, and the permitting offices we work with across Central Florida - it requires a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing site permits, invoicing, and scheduling to keep up with the pace of a busy electrical contracting business.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare, submit, and track electrical permit applications with local and county permitting offices

  • Generate, send, and follow up on client invoices and billing

  • Schedule and coordinate technicians and crews across active job sites

  • Answer phones and emails, and serve as a clear point of contact for clients

  • Maintain accurate project, client, and permit records

  • Support day-to-day office operations and assist ownership with administrative tasks

  • Communicate updates clearly to clients and crew, consistent with our commitment to clear communication before, during, and after every project

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling site permits, invoicing, and scheduling

  • Construction or trades industry experience strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with Central Florida permitting processes a plus

  • Proficiency with invoicing/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and scheduling tools

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple jobs at once

  • Clear, professional phone and written communication

  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced office
